PLEASE CHECK OUR DAILY SCHEDULE DOWN BELOW
Daily activities are generally divided into morning and afternoon. The morning hours are dedicated to Intensive Spanish study and students are divided according to levels of ability.Twelve is the maximum number of students per classroom. Afternoon classes are divided into Seminars and Workshops and are open to mixed levels of ability in Spanish.
Our Workshops and Seminars combine students with different levels of Spanish and the number of students in these classes is not limited to twelve. Our Seminars are imparted as lectures and are meant to be introductory surveys to Mexican Literature, History and Sociology. They are intended for the student to improve his/her comprehension ability and vocabulary while listening to Spanish in an engaging and informative context.
For those of you who do not wish to take our Full Immersion Program, please feel welcome to take 4 daily hours of class: 3 hours of Spanish and 1 Seminar to choose from, depending on your level of Spanish. Or you may take 3 daily hours of Spanish only.
We offer a Mexican Cooking Class every Friday at 12:30 PM. San Miguel is set in a historical area where the Mexican independence movement began. We offer students 2 one-day field trips per Session with a bi-lingual guide on the first 2 Saturdays of every Sessions.
ON FRIDAYS CLASSES END AT 12:20 PM FOR THE DAY
Students who wish to take our Semi-intensive Program or are taking One on One classes are welcome to take as many extra afternoon Workshops and Seminars as they wish, depending on their Spanish level. These classes may be taken by the week.
